O HORIZON - PSILOCYBIN
Several countries, including the US, are in the process of legalizing or decriminalizing psilocybin for therapeutic or recreational purposes. But despite this paradigm shift in the clinical world, only ~50% of US adults support research of psychedelic substances, highlighting the unmet need in psilocybin education
Our big idea is to making a sculpture to engage a high volume of people from a spectrum of backgrounds. People can take pictures and learn about psilocybin through our butterfly wing, which represent the sense of growing and coming out of the pupa, much alike coming out of depression to lighter, freer thinking. We’ll also tie the design into nature using ornate images and psilocybin mushrooms on the wings
On our Instagram page, users will be met with a cornucopia of information to explore. Our look and feel was designed to not feel clinical, but rather inviting and appealing to the casual visitor. The focus of the Instagram is to educate visitors in an interesting and engaging way because our goal is to help them explore this new avenue of treatment and wellbeing.
